Cynthia F. Ansari was appointed CEO on August 11, 2011. She is also a member of our Board of Directors. Ms. Ansari has nearly 20 years of expertise as a leader in the medical device industry. Prior to joining Vision-Sciences, Inc. Ms. Ansari served as Vice President of Global Marketing for Stryker Spine, one of the world's leading medical technology companies. From 1992 to 2007, Ms. Ansari held positions of increasing responsibility in sales and marketing at Stryker, including over a decade developing products for the endoscopic market. At Stryker, she led a global team of professionals to successfully launch numerous products and transform the Stryker Spine Marketing Organization. Ms. Ansari began her career at Motorola, Inc. where she earned numerous achievements, including the company's prestigious "Salesperson of the Year" award in 1991. Ms. Ansari has a B.A. in Economics from the University of Maryland. She has also participated in Executive Leadership Programs at Harvard Business School.

Katherine Wolf joined Vision-Sciences, Inc. as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President, Corporate Development in September 2008. Before joining VSI, from 2005-2008, Ms. Wolf was a Managing Director at HSBC Securities in its investment banking division, where she was a founding member of the firm's Health Care Group and ran the investment banking MedTech effort. Prior to HSBC, she was a Managing Director in the Health Care Group at Bear Stearns & Co., and before that, at SG Cowen and Furman Selz. Ms. Wolf holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.A. from Williams College.

Dan Mulligan joined Vision-Sciences as Vice President, Sales and Marketing in November 2011. Mr. Mulligan has over 20 years of experience in healthcare sales, sales management, and strategic marketing. Prior to joining Vision-Sciences, Mr. Mulligan was VP of Sales and Marketing at Innovative Medical Device Solutions, Senior VP at Skylight Healthcare and Director of Strategic Sales and Business Development at Stryker Corporation. Mr. Mulligan holds a B.A. from Miami University, an MBA from San Diego State University and a Masters from the University of San Diego.

Mark S. Landman currently serves as Vice President, Disposables Operations. Mr. Landman joined the Company in January 1991 and has served in a variety of leadership roles in product development, project management, manufacturing engineering and material control.

Jitu Patel joined Vision-Sciences (then known as Machida) in 1975. From 1975 to 1980, Mr. Patel worked in various medical and industrial capacities and was responsible for setting up new departments necessary to keep pace with the Company's growth. From 1980 to 1985, Mr. Patel worked in sales in both the medical and industrial areas, and since 1985 Mr. Patel has managed Vision-Sciences' Machida industrial division, currently as its Vice President.

Warren Bielke was named Director of Strategic Initiatives on August 11, 2011. Previously, Mr. Bielke was our Interim CEO from November 2009 to August 2011. Mr. Bielke served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Advanced Bio-Surfaces, Inc., an orthopedic implant company. Mr. Bielke was a co-founder and President and Chief Executive Officer of InStent, Inc., a medical device manufacturer that went public in 1995 and was acquired by Medtronic, Inc., in 1996, subsequent to which Mr. Bielke served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Medtronic InStent. Mr. Bielke currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors at the following companies: Vision-Sciences, Inc., Advanced Bio-Surfaces, Inc. and Vertebral Technologies, Inc. Mr. Bielke has a B.A. in Business Management from Moorhead State University.
